LAZYgunsBRISKY rocks with Bishi-Bishi !

On August 31th 2011, the rock band LAZYgunsBRISKY will join the other Bishi-Bishi artists (8otto, Trill-Dan, Aural Vampire, YMCK) on Ankama Shop, with their new album LAZYgunsBRISKY.
LAZYgunsBRISKY is a rock girl’s band created in 2006.
In December 2008, their first mini-album “Catching” was released under the label Babestar. The band made many tours across Japan and Europe in 2010.
In August 2010, they took part in the “I Love J-ROCK” project, a compilation album by Good Charamel Records. They also released “26times” and “Catching”, available across the whole Europe.
On the 23rd of May, the band started its “Fuck the world!! This is LAZYgunsBRISKY.TOUR” and moved on to a European tour including the Japan Expo 2011 in Paris.
Their new eponymous album LAZYgunsBRISKY is their first album containing English lyrics, in the goal of creating punk-rock melodies that will remain across the ages!
LAZYgunsBRISKY will be available for downloading, thanks to the partnership between Ankama Music and Boundee, a leading independent distributor in Japan. Both companies will soon offer on a monthly basis a wide range of bands from the Boundee portfolio through Ankama Shop.

The MANGA FESTIVAL PARTY (Paris-Porte de Versailles), welcomes the excellent Japanese group TRILL-DAN.
TRILL-DAN is a trio composed of two sexy and charismatic singers (JUAN and MARU) and their amazing drummer (GIVA).
Sometimes rock, sometimes melodic, the trio is easily raise the temperature when they are on stage!

Since 1999 Stichting Promotie Japanse Popcultuur (The J‐POP Foundation) has been organising the yearly Japanese animation and popular culture festival aptly named: Anime. Even though most of us started out as fans of Japanese Animation (Anime) or Japanese Comics (Manga), all of us have become fans of Japanese popular culture in general, including Japanese movies, games, food, fashion, toys, (pop) music and electronics. TRILL-DAN records his new album in France!

On March 19, 2011, TRILL-DAN will be in France to begin recording a next album, in the privacy of E Factory recording studio (Black Bomb A, Tagada Jones, Versus).
That Stephane Buriez, producer and sound engineer of talent, famous for his work on many albums, which accompany TRILL-DAN ! As a reminder, Stephane is also the charismatic leader of Loudblast.
At the end of their studio session in Rennes, the Japanese will enjoy their visit in France to shoot a music video, this time in Roubaix.

AURAL VAMPIRE awarded at Japan Expo 2011 in Paris

This year the Japan Expo Awards celebrated their 6th Edition in Paris, France. Since their creation in 2006, they have become a major gathering for both the public and professionals, even gaining recognition among Japanese professionals.
This ceremony aims to award the best Asian productions in Manga, Anime, Asian Cinema, Video Games and J-Music.
For this 6th Edition we are proud to announce that the band Aural Vampire, supported by the label Bishi-Bishi (Ankama Music), has been elected Best J-Music Band or Artist at the Japan Expo Awards 2011 !
This atypical duo, founded in Tokyo by the mesmerizing Exo-Chika and the mysterious DJ Raveman, develops a musical universe influenced by horror films from the 80’s that comes alive in their album Zoltank, available on the Ankama Shop.

The Japanese company Boundee and Ankama Music have just signed a distribution agreement.
In the view of making the access to Japanese indie artists easier for a broader audience, both companies will offer on a regular basis a wide range of bands from the Boundee portfolio through the Ankama Shop.
The label Bishi-Bishi will act as the promotional relay in France and Europe.
Founded in September 1999, Boundee, Inc is a music distribution and marketing company specialized in indie artists and labels.
